The Content Production Team

The Content Production and Management Board (CPMB) is divided into three offices: - SCEB (Short Communications Editorial Board), FR (Annual Faculty Report Editorial Office), OSC (Online Science Communication).

The SCEB organise the distribution of all short communications to the SCEB teams and the anonymous referees via moodle. They enforce the deadlines, of the submission of short communications and referee reports, and templates, for short communications and abstracts. Furthermore the SCEB organises the editorial process. They decide whether a short communication is accepted or rejected based on the reports of two anonymous referees. A third referee can be included in case a decision cannot be found. The corrected version of the communication is checked and can be sent again to the referees if necessary.

The members of FR collect one highlight and a publication list from a PI. Each of those members also suggests an additional highlight which is send for feedback to the respective PI. The templates of the annual faculty report are checked in accordance with guidelines and the forewords/editorials are collected. The finished annual faculty report will be published in collaboration with the OSC.

The OSC is responsible for the design and the content of the ITSC homepage. Everyone has to write one article for the webpage which will be proof read and corrected by each other. Furthermore all other publications like abstracts and ShoCos of the participants or the annual faculty report will be updated. Three people of the OSC, forms the Technics and Media Board (TMB) which is responsible for editing the webpage.

The Student Organisatorial Board

The SOB is divided into two offices: AWT (Abstract Writing Training and Organisatorial Office) and PS (Poster Symposium).

The AWT organises the abstract writing training: Every student submits an abstract on his/her bachelor thesis on moodle. Afterwards every student will receive two abstracts which he/she has to read and evaluate in accordance with criteria like structure, grammar, style of writing, content and presentation. From these experiences, every student should get familiar with writing an abstract. Furthermore, the AWT supports the ITSC in the organisation of the workshops, keeps track of every student's progress (participation) and organises a feedback process of the ITSC practical as a whole.
Ten members form the PS which has a supportive role in the current year and a managing role in the successive year. Their task is to create poster layouts, distributed to all students and the poster printing process is organised. The PS furthermore brings students and PIs together for representatives of the chairs to be able to introduce their field to the students. An "in-depth practical list of interested students" is organised by the PS for those interested in a certain field/chair/working group. Foremost, the poster symposium is organised by the PS including the invitation of PIs, location planning, poster panels, catering, poster price, ...
